The former Soviet Union and the countries of the Silk Road region possess vast mineral resources in coal, iron ore, manganese, uranium, chromium, silver, gold and certain rare-earth metals and industrial minerals.
Energy and Infrastructure
We have a proven track record with the energy companies in the hydropower sector in China and Russia. We have worked with Russia's RusHydro and En+ Group, as well as China Yangtze Power Corporation.
We advised Russia’s Summa Group on the strategic partnerships with China Merchants Group to develop Zarubino, a strategically important port in the Russian Far East that would connect China’s North East regions to the Pacific Ocean.Learn More
As evident from our track record, we first and foremost pursue merchant banking opportunities following our key clients in China and Russia. We focus on bringing Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOE's) to Russia.
Prior to founding Trilogy Capital Group in 2009, Salavat Rezbaev worked as an Managing Director at Gazprombank Direct Investments, focusing on energy, mining and industrial assets in the Russian Federation, CIS countries, Mongolia and Australia.
Prior to that, in 2004, Salavat Rezbaev started airNova, Russia’s first low cost airline project, which gave birth to SkyExpress and Avianova airlines.
Salavat Rezbaev’s Wall Street background is in investment banking (Goldman Sachs and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette). He started his career in New York City in 1994 at Tiger Management analyzing the fund’s Russia portfolio.
He graduated MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of International Relations) and received an MBA diploma at Harvard Business School.
Also, Mr. Rezbaev is a founder of Trilogy Global Initiative — a non-profit foundation participating in bringing back to Russia cultural and historical relics that were displaced and lost in wars and historical upheavals.
In 2011, Mr. Rezbaev entered the ‘Young Leaders of the 21st Century’ list by Asia Society.
In April 2012, Mr. Rezbaev was elected one of the three ‘Russian Businessmen of the Year’ at the international forum Horasis Global, also known as ‘Davos for Developing Markets.’
Svetlana has been our Corporate Director since February 2012.
In 2010—2012 she was the Director for Corporate Governance at Infrastructure Capital.
Before that, in 2006—2010 she was the Director for Corporate Governance at I.D.M. Electricity Distribution Management Fund, an investment fund with over US $1 billion worth of assets.
In 2008 Svetlana graduated from Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University, and before that, from Moscow Forestry Engineering Institute in 1998, with a degree in economics.
Timur has been our President since January 2014. Prior to that, he was Vice President since 2013.
In 2011—2013 he was the Commercial Director at Lukoil Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2000 Timur Khachmamuk received his Master of Science degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management (USA), specializing in International Company Management.
Dmitry has been Vice President of Trilogy Capital Group since November 2016.
In 2012—2016 he was the Managing Director at Twelve Seas Capital direct investment fund.
In 2007—2012 Managing Director at UFG Capital Partners direct investment fund.
In 1992 Dmitry graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University, followed by Harvard Business School in 1996.
